10 ways to shift your reality without visualization

Reality shifting is the newest hype and how could it not be?

After all, you are able to jump into any desired reality of yours and spend some time there!

What is reality shifting?

Reality shifting is the latest craze and it’s certainly not hard to see why.

With reality shifting, you’re able to jump into any desired reality of yours and spend some time there!

A lot of methods to shift reality include visualization, but to make things easier for you, I’ve compiled a list of methods to shift without visualization.

These are great for people who are completely new to this practice, but can also be used by more advanced practitioners as well!

You see, reality shifting can be done anywhere, but the safest option is probably at home in your own bed where you know you’ll be undisturbed.

Also, it’s important to note that reality shifting is not really separate from visualization.

In fact, reality shifting can be used in conjunction with visualization! For example, you can visualize your goals from the list above and then shift into them.

This will give you more energy and enthusiasm to work on them!

But enough said, let’s dive into the different methods of reality shifting!

1) The pillow method

The pillow method is one of the easiest methods to start out with.

In order to do it, you need to write your desired reality on a piece of paper and put it under your pillow.

The reason you do this is so that you can spend some time getting used to the idea of the reality.

This will make it easier for you to picture it when you want to shift into that reality!

When writing down your desired reality, get creative! You can have as much fun here as you want.

The way you write it down also depends on your personal preference.

Maybe you like:

  • bullet points
  • a short story
  • a list of emotions you will feel
  • a list of people you will meet
  • a few scenarios you want to experience

Whatever gets you in the mood of going to that reality!

After you wrote it all down and put it under your pillow, you simply go to sleep.

You will have a dream about your desired reality and it will feel very realistic.

2) The raven method

This method is mainly used for the script to be in it.

You want to write down a script of what you want to happen, the change or shift that you want to take place, and then read it again.

As I just mentioned with the pillow method, you can get really creative with your script.

Every person likes to do it differently, I’ve even seen people that will write out literal pages of the actual script!

When you’re done with your script, read it, then count to 100 while laying in the starfish position.

The rationale behind this method is that you are trying to get your brain into the desired reality by reading it out loud.

You see, when you count to 100, you are letting your subconscious drift away.

As it’s still focused on your desired reality, it will actually bring you there.

Then, you simply have to relax and wait for it to happen.

If nothing happened yet when you reach 100, try counting back down to 1 and then start the whole process again.

You see, shifting is like meditation, you need focus, and especially as a beginner, that can be hard sometimes.

So, by counting to 100 and then drifting away, you are making it easier for your subconscious to get into the desired reality.

The steps are as follows:

First, you write down your main goal three times. In this case, your main goal will probably be “Shift”.

So, on a piece of paper, write “Shift” “Shift” “Shift”.

Next, write your intention six times.

Your intention is what you want to happen.

In your case, that could be “I can shift”

So, on a piece of paper, write “I can shift” “I can shift” “I can shift” “I can shift” “I can shift” “I can shift”.

Next, write your action nine times.

Your action is what you are going to do to shift your reality.

So, for example, “I’ve shifted, everything is like I imagined it would be!”

The idea is to constantly think about these points during the day, and with repetition, you will get used to the idea of achieving this goal.

In time you will end up using it as a natural part of your life.

4) The no-sleep method

This method is best for when you’re feeling stuck and want to experience a different reality.

First, write down a script that describes what new reality you want to experience – in this case, the script would be “I am wealthy.”

But you can expand the script and write about the amazing house you live in, the vacations you go on, the parties you throw, etc.

Then, meditate on this script while repeating affirmations until you fall asleep.

The affirmations are statements such as “I am wealthy”, “Every day I am becoming more wealthy”, or “I am shifting.”

Affirmations are a great tool when it comes to shifting – they offer a way to think about the desired reality and then experience it.

When you use affirmations, you get to experience the desired reality through your own thoughts.

You are controlling your own thoughts, which is the key to experiencing anything that you want in life.

Affirmations help you to stay focused.

When you keep repeating affirmations in your head, you will notice that you are hyper-focused on your reality and not on your random thoughts.

This is why you don’t need to sleep in this particular scenario, you will be in a sort of trance and you will be able to experience whatever you want.

5) The blanket method

This method is easy and highly effective.

The easiest way to use this technique is to take a blanket and put it over your body.

If you are claustrophobic, this method might not be the best choice for you. In that case, it would be better to choose a different method here.

Affirmations are said aloud, then the person wakes up in a new reality.

Your affirmations can be “I am shifting” or “I will wake up in my desired reality”.

I’ve kept it a bit more classic with the Julia method.

The technique is pretty simple: put on relaxing music with theta waves, play it in the background, count to 100 and keep repeating affirmations.

This method is kind of like a mix of different shifting methods, which is why it is so effective!

The theta waves put you in the right state of mind, the counting helps you to focus and the affirmations bring you to your desired reality.

Soon enough, you’ll feel relaxed and ready for what’s next!

9) Use a guided meditation

Okay, this one is relatively self-explanatory but it is one of the best options for beginners.

If you want to shift realities, try to use guided meditations.

There are plenty of options online that are geared towards reality shifting, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

Why is that such an effective method?

Well, having someone guide you through the experience is extremely helpful as it will prevent you from drifting off to other thoughts.

Try different things, like writing things down, being asleep, being awake, meditating, listening to music, not listening to music, listening to the sounds of your desired reality, sitting in silence, etc.

The more you try the more you will notice what works and what doesn’t work for you.

In the end, your own method is probably the most effective for you.

Don’t get addicted

Shifting realities is a great thing, no doubt about it, but like anything that helps you escape from your reality, it can get really addictive.

You see, there is nothing wrong with distracting yourself every once in a while, but make sure that you aren’t using shifting as a means to escape your reality constantly.

Otherwise, you will just end up getting stuck in a reality that you don’t like and it can be pretty depressing.

Once again, I want to emphasize the importance of not becoming addicted to the practice.

It’s okay to use it as a means of relief but don’t let it consume your life.

Your reality will not go anywhere, no matter how much you escape it, so maybe you can use your time to improve your true reality!
