Reality shifting.

You really want to be able to shift, and you’d like to try doing it through sleep. All you need now is the right method to help you get there.

If that’s you, then you’ve come to the right place.

There are lots of ways you can shift realities while asleep, and we’re about to show you what they all are.

So if you’d like to learn all the methods and tips there are for shifting realities while asleep, just keep on reading.

The top 3 easiest methods to shift while asleep

Ultimately, which shifting method is easiest will depend entirely on you and your preferences. But many people have found great success with these three popular methods.

1) The Julia / I am method

This is definitely one of the most used and well known ways to shift. It was created by a girl named Julia in the shifting community, and often done as a no sleep method as well.

The entire process is based on the words, “I am”.

First, lie down in a starfish position, with your legs and arms stretched out around you. If you like, you can have sounds like subliminals, Theta waves, or binaural beats playing in the background.

Keep repeating “I am”. You may also complete the expression to make meaningful sentences about shifting. For example, you could say

  • “I am vibrating at a higher frequency”
  • “I am consciousness in its purest form”
  • “I am shifting to my desired new reality”

Or you can create sentences based on your script. In this case, include details:

  • “I am (name)”
  • “I live in (place)”
  • “My best friend is (name)”
  • “I love “hobby”

If you decide to use phrases like this, engage your senses and emotions as much as you can. Also stick to the present tense (“I am”, not “I will”).

Start counting to 100, continuing to repeat your “I am” statements or sentences in between every few numbers. You’ll start to feel symptoms of shifting as you drift closer to your DR. Allow your mind to fall asleep and wake up to your DR.

2) The raven method

To use the Raven Method for shifting, lie down in a starfish position with your arms and legs spread out like a star. Relax your whole body, keeping it loose and comfortable. Make sure your mind is in a calm state too.

You can begin the process with affirmations to reinforce your ability to shift.

Then, start slowly counting to 100. You can continue to say affirmations every few counts, or play Theta waves or subliminals in the background.

The main idea is to continue counting, while visualizing that you are drifting away towards your DR.

If you reach 100 and don’t feel ready yet, you can repeat the process as many times as you need.

Once you feel the symptoms that you have started to shift, let your consciousness slip into sleep to wake up to your DR.

3) The pillow method

This is one of the absolute best shifting methods for beginners. Instead of just using visualization of the reality you want to manifest, you will write out and follow a detailed script.

In it, you can include:

  • the names of all the people you want to see
  • the series of events you would like to experience
  • perceptions like sights, smells, and tastes

Write it on a piece of paper and tuck it under the pillow where you will lie down.

Get into a comfortable position, or a starfish position. Use the script you have under you to guide your intentions for shifting to your DR.

You can recall it in your mind, or use visualization such as imagining yourself being sucked into the contents of your script.

If you are still struggling, try playing subliminals or Theta waves in the background. Or, use affirmations to raise your vibrations.

Eventually you’ll start to feel some symptoms of shifting. When they appear, guide your mind to falling asleep into your DR.

How do you shift reality while sleeping? 9 powerful tips to help you shift

As you may have experienced, shifting realities is far from easy. However, there are some powerful tips that can help you immensely. Here are three essential tips for how to shift while sleeping.

1) Prepare your body and mind with meditation

Being able to fall asleep will be a great help in transferring your consciousness to your DR.

But here’s the thing.

Your body is so used to falling asleep and waking up in your CR. After all, you do it every day! If you want your consciousness to move differently in order to shift to a different reality, you need to prepare your mind for this new experience.

The best way to do that is through meditation.

At first, it may take a bit longer to get your mind into the right state. But once you become more comfortable with this technique, you will only need to meditate for about 5-10 minutes.

Play Theta waves in the background. You don’t need to use any affirmations or script at this point yet. Just focus on your breath, notice any thoughts that pop into your mind, and let them go. If you notice your thoughts drifting off to what you’ll have for dinner or that thing someone said to you, bring it back to focus on your breath.

The idea now is to wind yourself down to be relaxed yet stay focused. It’s like warming up your body before you start to do hard physical exercise. Your mind will have a much easier time concentrating on your DR without getting distracted.

2) Free your mind

Most of us are very good at falling asleep — but not so great at guiding our mind to our DR in the process.

You see, shifting realities takes a high level of spirituality. You have to be able to let go of all your conceptions of logic and the limits of your consciousness.

And you’ve probably already realized that this takes a fair amount of work. Since you’re working on shifting, it’s clear you’ve already started putting in that work and effort!

But here’s the strange thing that you may have noticed. Many courses out there — the vast majority of them, in fact — just tout the same message over and over about “staying positive”.

Are you feeling exhausted from being bombarded by this message? If so, you’re not alone! In fact, many people have started to realize that they’ve been sold toxic spirituality.

It’s time for a change. In this incredible free video, shaman Rudá Iandé explains how you can get your spirituality back on the right track to truly free your mind.

You will immediately notice that Rudá seems different from everyone else. In fact, he’s not going to tell you how to practice spirituality. Instead, he gives you the tools you need so that you can get in touch with your core self and find real empowerment from within.

These are exactly the skills that can help you tap into your subconscious mind and become a master shifter.

3) Don’t try it when you’re too tired

Have you tried shifting realities after a long and tiring day, when all you wanted was to fall into bed and doze off?

While it might seem like the perfect way to make use of your fatigue, this isn’t the best way to go about shifting realities while sleeping.

You see, when you try this, you’ll actually be too tired. Your mind will not have the strength to focus enough on your DR in order to transfer there.

Instead, your brain will be focused on getting rest, and therefore it will pull you into your usual dreamland in your CR.

For the best success at shifting, choose a time when you feel relatively well rested, but not so energized that you won’t be able to fall asleep at all.

4) Drink plenty of water

Drinking a lot helps you raise your vibrations and get into a positive state of mind.

A lot of people report that being hydrated helps them shift much more easily. As your brain stays hydrated, you will alleviate some of the strain from trying to shift.

5) Take breaks when you need them

It might take you some time to successfully shift for the first time, especially if you’re new to shifting. Remember that your mind is working really hard, and be careful not to overburden it. If you feel like you’re straining yourself too much, just take a break and start over later. The more you practice, the better you’ll become, and nobody said you have to do it all at once!

6) Use Subliminals or theta waves

Try using sound to stay immersed in the shifting experience and keep yourself from falling asleep too fast.

A good place to start is with Theta waves. These are “slow” waves, with a frequency of anything between 3.5 and 7.5 Hz. They are strongly associated with creativity, intuition, and fantasizing.

For this reason, Theta waves can help you achieve the ideal state for shifting: where your body is asleep but your mind is still awake.

Subliminals are also very useful sounds for many shifters. These are audios with hidden messages and affirmations to help you shift.

Just be aware that not all subliminal recordings have good affirmations.  Spend some time reading the comments before you try one, to see if people got good results. Don’t listen to anything that you don’t feel is safe.

7) Get help from a gifted advisor

You may have been struggling with trying to shift realities for a while. And so have dozens of other people just like you. You’re certainly not alone.

But here’s the thing. Each person can struggle with shifting for very different reasons.

What blocks you from shifting can be completely the opposite issue to what someone else experiences.

And that makes one thing clear: the best way to finally start succeeding in shifting is to get personalized guidance from an expert.

They can answer all your questions like, What’s keeping me from shifting? What method is best for shifting realities? And what should I do to master reality shifting?

Imagine how easy everything can become when you know all these answers. Great, right?

There’s just one catch — finding someone you can trust. There are so many so-called “gurus” out there, it’s so hard to know where to even begin.

That’s why I recommend Psychic Source. When I signed up for a reading, they provided me with a unique insight into my spirituality, including what I needed to know so I could finally shift.

Having tried several online advisors, I think they’re the most caring, compassionate and helpful network of gifted advisors out there.

Not only will a genuine advisor tell you how you can shift realities, but they can guide you on the best process for doing it too.

8) Use scripting

You don’t need a script to shift, but it can certainly help. If you are struggling with shifting for the first time, try it out with a script your next try and you’ll probably have much better success.

There are lots of ways you can write a script — you can make it long and detailed, or short and brief. If you’re a visual person, you can even create a drawing of your DR.

Write it like a story, or just list bullet points. Here is an example of a list-style script:

Name:

Age:

Birthday:

Sexuality and pronouns:

Appearance:

Personality:

Family members:

Friends:

Love interest:

Health:

Back story:

If you’re having problems with falling asleep too early, you can also try scripting when you’ll let yourself fall asleep.

And remember to script things that will keep your DR self safe, such as high pain tolerance and an inability to die. This way you’ll avoid getting traumatized in your DR, so you don’t bring back any bad memories to carry around.

You can make your script anywhere — write it on a piece of paper or in a notebook, or even just type it in your phone.

9) Use affirmations

Affirmations can be used with any sleeping shifting method to help you along the process.

These affirmations can be anything you want, as long as:

1) You make them in the present tense (“I am” not “I will” or “I want to be”)

2) They are relevant to your dream reality

You can make general affirmations about shifting and your ability to shift, for example:

  • I am shifting
  • I can shift very easily
  • I am in transit to my desired reality
  • I am in my desired reality
  • I love being in my desired reality
  • Shifting comes totally natural to me

Or alternatively, you can get down to the nitty-gritty and come up with even the smallest details about yourself and the other people in your DR.

Make your affirmations as specific as possible. For example, you could say:

  • “My name is _____”
  • “My best friend/partner is _____”
  • “I am (a profession / a characteristic / an identity marker)
  • “I like to _____”
  • “I live in _____”
  • “I work at / study at _____”

It might also help you to write these shifting affirmations down before you attempt to shift.

You won’t be able to read the list during the process, as shifting realities require your eyes to be closed. But since you’ve written them down, they can stick in your memory and your subconscious mind better.

Reality shifting methods while sleeping

Above, we saw three popular and very commonly used methods to shift realities while sleeping. But they are far from being the only ways to shift! Here are plenty more options for you to choose from.

4) The one-day method

This is one of the easiest shifting methods, and it could be a great option for those who haven’t succeeded in shifting yet and are struggling to do it.

A lot of people were successful after trying this method.

Here’s what you need to do:

Write a new script (but don’t toss out your old one). You should start your new script with this sentence:

“The first time I shift I will only stay in my DR for one day.”

There’s no need to include things that are already in your previous script. Subconsciously, you already know those details.

Instead, your new script should describe specifically what will happen on your very first day in your DR.

  • Where are you exactly?
  • Who are you with?
  • What do you do on that first day?

Write as much detail as you can. This process will also help you to release any stress about shifting and define more clearly than ever what your DR is.

If you feel it will help, you can also continue writing your new script with all the things on your old one.

Once you have finished your script, you can pick any of the methods described on this page to shift.  The pillow method may be a good one, as it’s highly focused on scripts.

When you successfully shift for the first time, you can delete or throw out this “one day” script and go back to your old one.

5. The heartbeat method

If you find repetitive sounds calming, then try out the Heartbeat Method for shifting.

You’ll need to find a track of a heartbeat, or similar vibrational or humming repetitive sounds. You can set it to play from your phone, put it on earphones, or stick a speaker on low volume under your pillow. Make sure the sound can play uninterrupted, without ads or buffering.

Focus on the sound and visualize it coming from the chest of someone you trust in your DR.

Focus all your attention on this person and their heartbeat. You can count to 100, or recite affirmations about shifting or that person along with the sound.

Soon, you should begin to feel some symptoms of shifting. When that happens, visualize your DR guest slowly getting up and bringing you to a door. This is the entrance to your DR.

When you enter, you’re engulfed with a bright light, and feel your mind starting to drift away to your new reality.

6. The truth or dare method

We’ve all played truth or dare. But have you ever played it with the universe?

Now it’s time to try it out in this asleep shifting method.

The universe is actually the only one who plays. Ask the universe “Truth or Dare?” in your mind. The first choice that pops into your mind is your answer. Alternatively, you can actually toss a coin in your CR.

If your answer falls on “truth”: ask the universe, either out loud or in your head, “How long will it take me to shift?”. Whatever pops into your mind first is your answer.

If your answer falls on “dare”: dare the universe to let you shift. For example, you can say something like “Universe, I dare you to let me shift now!”

And that’s the end of the game. Now, start counting slowly to 100. Repeat shifting and DR affirmations between every few numbers.

Once you start to feel symptoms of shifting, allow your mind to drift into sleep and wake up in your DR.

7. The ADHD method

You’ll notice that in most methods for shifting, you have the option to play sound in the background. Well, this method is based entirely on sound.

Make sure you’re using quality headphones. Find 8D soundtracks and check that they can play without interruptions like ads or buffering.

Lie in a comfortable position and put your full attention to listening. At the same time, repeat affirmations like “I am transitioning to my desired reality”.

Sync your breathing to the audio and your affirmations. You’ll soon begin to feel the symptoms of shifting. When this happens, let yourself drift off to sleep while visualizing the reality you want to wake up to.

8. The falling method

If you have a taste for adventure, this may be a great shifting method for you to try.

Lie down in a comfortable position, and picture yourself standing in a hall. There is a beautiful aura all around you. A short distance away, you see a door. Walk towards it slowly and open it, repeating affirmations about your DR self.

When the door opens, you can hear the universe calling out to you. You step through the door and begin to fall. Don’t worry about where you’re going, as your soul will guide you in the right direction.

Focus on feeling yourself falling with all your senses and continue your affirmations. You feel a deep sense of peace and calm. When you feel symptoms that you are shifting, you will feel the falling sensation come to a halt as you land.

Here, you see another door. Go to it and open it as you let your mind slip into sleep. You’ll wake up to see the DR that you have just stepped into.

9) The piano method

This is a great method for anyone who likes to add a bit of grandeur to their visualizations.

Lie down in a comfortable position and imagine you’re in a grand hall. There’s a luxurious piano on the stage.

Use your imagination to fill the hall with decorations and audience members. You walk towards the piano, with a focus light following you. The audience is watching you while quietly chatting.

Continue repeating affirmations as you get closer to the piano.

When you’re ready, sit down on the piano bench. The audience goes quiet, and you start to play. Immerse yourself in the moment and music as fully as you can. When you finish your performance, the audience claps enthusiastically for you.

Now, you get up and head towards the door to the side of the stage, affirming that it’s time to go. Someone opens it for you, and you enter. A loved one from your DR says “welcome home, love”.

10) The train method

This method for shifting realities while sleeping combines visualization with a positive mindset.

With your eyes closed, use deep breathing to relax your mind and body. Imagine you’re sitting on a train that’s headed towards your dream reality.

It’s important that you keep thinking positive thoughts so that your train keeps going in the right direction. Continue to visualize and affirm to yourself that you’ll be at your final stop soon.

To help yourself shift, you can count the stops, or count to 100. Or, you can imagine looking out the window at the countryside and watch the surroundings become more and more like your DR.

When you start to feel you are shifting, let your mind fall asleep and the train will come to a halt at your DR station.

11) The Sunni method

This shifting method is heavily based on visualization. It may feel very familiar if you have already practiced manifesting in the physical world.

The principle is that you need to trick yourself into believing a certain truth. If you convince yourself that you are already in your DR, the universe matches your vibrations and brings this reality about.

So to use this shifting method, you just need to visualize your DR in as much detail as you can. The key thing is to involve all your senses, and make yourself see, hear, smell, taste, and touch your DR in your mind.

Keep with this visualization process until you feel the symptoms that you are shifting. Let your mind fall asleep so you can wake up to the DR you have manifested.

12) The intent method

If you’re not one for visuals, affirmations, or subliminal sounds, then this might be the right reality shifting method for you.

It’s all about the intention of your mind to shift. A firm resolve and belief in yourself is all that you need to use this way to shift realities while awake.

This method is often used with sleep. However, as mentioned earlier, you can adapt any shifting method to staying awake as well.

It might help if you try this method when you are a little tired, so your brain does not have too much energy to fight against your intentions or start to be “logical”.

So take advantage of your chaotic thoughts when you feel drowsy. You can do this from a seated position to avoid falling asleep.

Then repeat to yourself, “I intend to shift to my desired reality. Keep this intention steady in your mind and focus all your attention on it.

13) The melt method

This is a great asleep shifting method, as it uses the sensations of your body relaxing into your bed.

Lie down in a comfortable position, or a starfish position. If you like, you can play subliminals or theta waves in the background.

Imagine that under your CR room, there is your DR room. It is upside down, like a reflection in the mirror from your CR room. Imagine your DR self lying in bed, in the exact same position as you are now in your CR.

Count slowly to 100 and repeat affirmations in your mind in between counts. At the same time, visualize yourself starting to melt through your bed and down into your DR room. Engage all your senses, focusing on the feeling of your body sinking into your mattress and pillow.

As you get close to 100, you should start to feel the symptoms that you are shifting. When you feel this process is nearly complete, let your mind fall asleep so you can wake up to your DR.

14) The Estelle method

If music relaxes you, then you’ll love the Estelle Method to shift while asleep.

Choose music that you feel you can easily connect with and make sure you can play it without interruptions like ads or buffering. Imagine yourself dancing with a loved one from your DR. It could be a crush, friend, or anyone else you care about.

Visualize the scene, engaging all your senses:

  • How does the air feel?
  • What can you smell around you?
  • How does it feel to touch the other person?

When the dance is finished, your dance partner will say, “It’s time to go home”. They will leada you to a door to your DR and open it for you. You step through it and start falling into a void. As you do, continue affirming that you are transitioning to your DR.

You’ll feel the symptoms that this is happening, and you can let yourself fall asleep. You’ll wake up to see you have landed in your new reality.

15) The mirror method

Do you feel you’re a highly imaginative person? Then the mirror method for shifting may be the perfect choice, as it’s heavily based on visualization.

Imagine you’re alone in a dark room with a light shining on you. A short distance away, you see a mirror. Slowly walk towards it, repeating affirmations in your mind. You see your reflection growing bigger in the reflection.

But your reflection shows your DR self. Study what you look like, affirming things about your DR identity. You’ll start to feel some shifting symptoms as you get closer.

Once you reach the mirror, put your hands on the surface. As your hand touches your DR’s hand, you’ll feel the shifting process being completed as you unite with your DR self.

Let yourself fall asleep, and you’ll wake up in your DR.

How to shift without a method

If you’ve tried several methods without success, you might be wondering if you can shift realities without a method.

Yes, you absolutely can!

Shifting methods are useful, but definitely not necessary. They are just there to give you a guided structure you can follow. But you can certainly shift to your DR even without using a method.

All you really need to do is convince yourself that you are in your DR. If you can do this without a method, just do whatever works best for you.

This could include:

  • Feeling like you are there
  • Believing you are there
  • Repeating affirmations until you shift
  • Listening to music that helps you visualize you are there
  • Meditating
  • Creating scenarios in your mind about your DR

At the end of the day, you can call anything that you use to shift realities a method. The only difference is, you’ve created it yourself.

What are the signs that you have started to shift?

The key to using sleep-shifting methods successfully is timing the moment when you fall asleep.

You have to be able to put this off until after you’ve started to feel signs that you’re shifting.

But wait — how can you tell that you’re shifting?

Here are some signs and symptoms to look out for:

  • a sensation of floating
  • feeling weightless
  • feeling super heavy
  • heart racing
  • vibrations
  • itching
  • tingling
  • numbness
  • seeing white lights
  • hearing/feeling something from your DR
  • smelling a signature scent

You might be thinking, don’t some of these sound a bit contradictory? How can itching and numbness both be signs that you have shifted realities?

Well, as each of us can experience shifting realities in a different way, there is a very wide range of possible symptoms.

Whatever you feel, you will not be able to miss it. So just keep your mind alert and attentive,  and watch out for any sensations in your body that are unexplained or out of the ordinary.

Have you reached the end of your rope with shifting realities?

Have you tried every possible method, but you’re still struggling with shifting?

I was actually in the same place last year. After having tried and failed so many times, I felt out of hope about ever being able to shift.

A good friend of mine suggested I speak to a psychic. I had nothing else to lose — so I decided to go for it.

The first place I tried was garbage and had nothing to offer, but I kept looking.

That’s when I found Psychic Source.

It was completely different, and the gifted spiritual advisor there really helped me understand the blocks that were keeping me from shifting, and how to go about it the right way.

I was blown away by how kind, understanding, and genuinely helpful they were.

Click here to try it out.

They are incredibly knowledgeable about reality shifting. Most importantly, they can also empower you to make the right decisions when it comes to spirituality and your life purpose.
