Neptune starts its retrograde today, besties, are you ready to take your rose-tinted glasses off?

Two big celestial motions are happening today, one being the Moon moving into Sagittarius and the other being a Neptune retrograde. There’s a curiosity within us during this lunar transit, we might feel more exploratory and excited about what we don’t know. This is well and good because as I said, Neptune starts its inward traveling in Pisces today and it will last until the 6th of December. So, yeah, optimism is a good way to welcome this retrograde.

You might be thinking, another retrograde? Correct. Saturn did just retrograde—in Pisces, too—and it sternly invited us to reassess our game plan. Meanwhile, Neptune turning inward is also an invitation for clarity. The delusional era is taking a hiatus, besties, we’re seeing things (and people) for what they truly are. Red flags included.

Wishful thinking will lessen as reality presents itself more clearly. And sure, it might be painful to know that all we knew were really just us hoping for the best but try to treat the clarity as redirection anyway. The faster you’re on the better path, the faster you get to what’s truly for you.

And with that, let’s check today’s love forecast:

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Is it a good day for love, Aries? Short answer: Stay put.

Long answer: The thing I really love about you guys is how you’re always at the ready. You’re always the first to make things happen, you know, the one who leads. The one always on the go. However, during this Neptune retrograde, it’ll pay to stay put. What have you been leaving behind with all this running you do, Aries? Or better yet, who have you been leaving behind? Love-wise, remember that silence is also an answer and no closure is closure in itself. Time to air out the proverbial rug, Aries, and do some healing.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Is it a good day for love, Taurus? Short answer: Let go of unhealthy connections.

Long answer: Not all connections are created equal, Taurus. During this Neptune retrograde, take a good look at the connections you have been keeping. Be honest if you’re being dragged around by an unhealthy one. I know that you are one to marvel at the comfortable but complacency is not comfort, it’s fool’s gold, and bestie, it’s time for some auditing.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Is it a good day for love, Gemini? Short answer: It’s a career-driven retrograde.

Long answer: Pay attention, fellow Gems, as opportunities and possibilities open up during this retrograde that could give more meaning to our careers. It might even open entirely different paths altogether! What will make you feel alive, Gem? What is your purpose? Your calling? Look, this isn’t immediate, nor is this guaranteed; but when the opportunity presents itself, will you grab it?

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Is it a good day for love, Cancer? Short answer: There’s a restlessness in you.

Long answer: The Great Perhaps is calling more loudly than ever, Cancer, restlessness and discontent might brew because of this. Change might be more appealing and the “Why” of things might be more essential than ever. While this could be amazing for self-growth, this could bring tension in your love life if the other person is not on-board. Remember though, clarity is redirection.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Is it a good day for love, Leo? Short answer: It’s possible.

Long answer: Honor your boundaries, Leo. Rediscover what intimacy truly means for you and your partner, perhaps you have changed with the times and perhaps so have they. Also, not only with intimacy but shared assets and common goals should be revisited. Life’s too fleeting to settle.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Is it a good day for love, Virgo? Short answer: It’s possible.

Long answer: It’s time to see your partner (or potential love interest) in the most honest lighting, Virgo. Remove your rose-tinted glasses and address the red flags as they appear. Settling? We don’t know her. You deserve more than the bare minimum, you deserve the kind of love that makes you feel appreciated and fulfilled. Single? Take this time to redefine what love should truly mean for you.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Is it a good day for love, Libra? Short answer: Get ready for some consistency.

Long answer: About to make some big decisions, Libra? Well, this Neptune retrograde in your industrious sixth house might just bring you the focus and decisiveness that you need. Also, pay attention to what needs to be optimized in your routine, bestie. Leave what doesn’t add value to your life, take what you can, and adapt accordingly. Additionally, pay close attention to your health and wellness, and if need be, be that voice urging your nearest and dearest to do the same.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 22)

Is it a good day for love, Scorpio? Short answer: Give yourself permission.

Long answer: Have the audacity to go after what will make you happy, Scorpio. If you’ve been settling for someone’s bare minimum, this Neptune retrograde just might show you what you’ve been missing. You deserve more than breadcrumbs, Scorpio, but this isn’t to say that you should constantly indulge in a cake buffet. Indulge responsibly.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Is it a good day for love, Sagittarius? Short answer: Who are you keeping close to you?

Long answer: It’s normal to not like your nearest and dearest from time to time even if you love them to death. It’s okay to think they’re wrong, okay to tell them that they’ve hurt you when they have. Neptune’s retrograde in your domestic fourth might bring unpleasant truths to the surface regarding your closest people. This could force you to reconcile the version you know of them and the reality of who they truly are. Trust that the truth will be for the better, Sagittarius. All the best.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Is it a good day for love, Capricorn? Short answer: If they wanted to, they would.

Long answer: In the same respect, if you wanted to, you would. The time for circling around the point is over, Capricorn, it’s time to set clear intentions. Communication is key to furthering any of your agendas—love included—during Neptune’s retrograde, although some aspects might still take time to unravel. Slow and steady, bestie, truths take time after all.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Is it a good day for love, Aquarius? Short answer: It’s a money-oriented retrograde.

Long answer: Settle your finances during Neptune’s backward spin, Aquarius, and try not to wait until you’re forced by the circumstances. If you have been struggling (and in this economy?! I don’t blame you), perhaps a budget overhaul is in order to help balance the books. A money-making opportunity might even present itself so keep your eyes peeled, it might not be as straightforward as you think.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Is it a good day for love, Pisces? Short answer: Depends on you.

Long answer: You have already been many things and have already been different people but this Neptune retrograde can show you that you still have yet to meet all versions of you. You still have so much to learn, so many things to do, and so many things and people to fall in and out of love with. Visualize your highest self and then show up as them, bestie. Best of luck.
