Meticore Review (2021): My Results After 6 Weeks

Meticore is the latest weight loss supplement to hit the internet.

As someone who has always struggled with his weight, this supplement hooked me with its unique take on weight loss from the moment I first read about it.

I’ve been taking Meticore for about 6 weeks now.

In my epic (and 100% real) Meticore review, I discuss everything you need to know about it: what it is, what it actually does, who it’s suitable for, whether or not it’s a scam, and whether it really works – based on my own personal experience.

Did it help me lose weight?

What Is Meticore?

Before I reveal my real experience taking Meticore, I want to take the time to explain what Meticore is, how it works, and what’s actually in it.

Meticore is advertised as “the world’s first 100% natural solution designed to target low core body temperature”. What’s interesting about Meticore is that its marketing doesn’t revolve around weight loss, burning fat, or getting thin: they focus on lowering your core body temperature, which then creates the ripple effect of helping you lose weight.

They specifically refer to Meticore as “a metabolism-boosting supplement crafted with al-natural ingredients to ensure users lose weight naturally and effectively.”

Meticore comes in bottles containing 30 capsules, with the recommended daily intake of one capsule (preferably while you eat). This means a single bottle can last you an entire month, with bottles costing anywhere from $39 to $59 each (at the time of writing this review), depending on how many you buy on their site.

It’s important to note that while Meticore likes to use the phrase “FDA-approved” on its official site, they’re quite clever with their wording: Meticore itself doesn’t seem to be FDA_approved, but their “Meticore capsule” is FDA-approved and their manufacturing facility is FDA-registered and approved.

Does that make Meticore a scam? No; FDA-approval isn’t a necessity for something to work, especially when the science behind it is sound.

How does it work?

The concept behind Meticore is simple: we all have an average core body temperature, but some of us have cooler core body temperatures, leading to a natural slowdown of our metabolic processes and overall metabolism.

We burn less, metabolize less efficiently, and store more in the body, meaning even if we end up having the same diet as someone with an average core body temperature, we gain more weight over time than they do.

That’s where Meticore comes in. Meticore addresses the low core temperature of the body with its unique blend of ingredients, giving your digestive system a necessary boost while helping you burn more calories throughout the day. Meticore claims that most people with low body core temperature are unaware of their condition, simply because there are no significant adverse side effects aside from being heavier, which is usually attributed to other causes.

Once a person begins taking Meticore, their low body temperature is corrected, triggering a rapid and natural weight loss experience, until the user hits their body’s “normal” weight.

What’s in it?

The great thing about Meticore is that you’re not putting anything unnatural in your body. One fear I have with so many of these “lose weight fast” diet pills or supplements is the very real possibility of an unnatural substance being included in the formulation.

It might not hurt you right now, but there are countless stories out there of people slowly compromising their body with a relatively harmless but consistent unnatural substance they’d been taking for years.

Thankfully, Meticore doesn’t play around with anything like that. Meticore is 100% natural and vegetarian-friendly, without any GMO additives or artificial stimulants.

What are the core ingredients in Meticore? It’s a mix of herbal food extracts and plant-based nutrients, including:

  • African mango seed
  • Ginger rhizome
  • Moringa leaf
  • Citrus bioflavonoids
  • Fucoxanthin
  • Vitamin B12
  • Chromium
  • Turmeric rhizome.

The capsule itself is FDA-approved and vegetarian, made without any stimulants or other unnatural or toxic substances.

There are six key active ingredients in the formula:

  • Brown seaweed extract
  • African mango extract
  • Moringa Oleifera
  • Ginger
  • Turmeric.

I’ll discuss below what these individual key active ingredients do and how they add value to the Meticore formulation.

But first – why am I taking Meticore?

Why I decided to try Meticore

I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life. Based on BMI alone, I would be considered “obese”, although I don’t really look like the conventional person suffering from obesity.

I regularly work out, build muscle at the gym, run a 5k a few times a week, and even tried going on a keto diet. But all of that work doesn’t change the fact that I’m much heavier than I’d like to be.

And this is something I’ve quietly and personally battled for as long as I can remember. I’ve done and tried it all: the special diet fads, meditation and self-hypnosis, and even daily herbal teas that make you run to the bathroom. I have enough nutritional science and “bro fitness science” in my head to talk for hours on end about weight loss topics.

I can’t even remember the last time I wasn’t either on a diet or cheating on a diet.

Despite all this, I just can’t get my weight under control. I’d like to blame it on the fact that I’m a really busy person — I juggle two jobs (sometimes three), with responsibilities and tasks often going late into the night. The moment I start to get a little stressed, I get a little hungry, and when that hunger starts to kick in, it’s all I can think about.

And I can’t afford to waste my nights being hungry when I have a million things to do. It’s infinitely easier to have a little extra dinner or an unnecessary snack, making any weight loss from the exercise meaningless.

Why Meticore?

As someone who’s done and tried it all, why did I even bother with Meticore in the first place?

Simple: it taught me something new.

As someone who knows an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to the basics of nutrition, Meticore was the first “diet pill” with real and legitimate science that I’d never heard of before. But the studies and research is out there to back it all up.

To keep it short, Meticore doesn’t make you think you’re losing weight by acting as a rebranded laxative, like so many of those other weight loss supplements. Meticore instead works on a condition that is genetically set in you: the normal core temperature of your body.

The idea is that we all have around the same core temperature inside of us, but by having a slightly cooler core temperature than the average person, your metabolism and related biological functions slow down significantly. This means you burn fewer calories throughout the day, you metabolize your food intake less efficiently than others, and you don’t go to the bathroom as often as you should.

And all of this made a whole lot of sense to me. I have always been a “cold” person, with the innate ability to withstand freezing temperatures with ease, or at least much more easily than my (thin!) friends and partners.

After reading about Meticore (and reading tons and tons of scientific articles about their claims), I felt that the novelty alone of trying something new was enough to justify my first Meticore purchase.

Did I believe in it? Maybe 50/50. But considering how done I was with being technically “obese”, 50/50 belief was enough for me.

So, let me answer the question: did it work? In short, I can honestly say it did. But there’s a lot more to it, all of which I continue discussing below.

Is Meticore a scam?

It’d be strange to write a review on Meticore without talking about the divisive reviews you can find on it. Meticore’s got amazing reviews and some pretty bad ones, but after going through dozens of reviews, I can say that a lot of their negative press is due to two factors:

People buy from stores other than their main website, meaning they aren’t getting the real product.
Not everyone understands exactly how Meticore works, since they’re so used to laxative-like supplements.

As I said above, Meticore is unique in the way it tries to address your weight issue — it doesn’t go for your weight directly, but instead tries to fix another aspect of your body that may be causing the weight issue, your core body temperature.

That means it’s important that you have the real pill rather than a fake alternative, and you know what your expectations should be going into it.

Who should use Meticore?

If you can relate with me on a number of levels, then you should probably try Meticore. But let me make this straight: Meticore won’t work for everyone, because not everyone is overweight due to low core body temperature.

Some people are overweight or obese because they:

  • Have bad eating habits
  • Live very sedentary lifestyles
  • Rarely ever exercise
  • Aren’t consistent with their healthy behaviors.

If you’re overweight because of the issues above, then Meticore might not be for you. Other weight loss supplements you might want to try include ProVen, Leptitox and Resurge.

Meticore is best suited for people who:

  • Have been struggling with their weight for a while
  • Have tried exercising without experiencing significant changes to their weight
  • Understand the consistency required to properly lose weight.

If you feel you fall under the points above, then Meticore is probably for you. The cause for your weight isn’t your eating or exercise habits; rather, it might be your natural low core body temperature leading to slow but gradual weight gain over the years.

Finally, if you’re under 18 or if you are pregnant, currently taking any medication, or have any existing health conditions, it’s important to consult your doctor before taking Meticore (or any other dietary supplement).

Does Meticore ACTUALLY work? Understanding the science behind it

It’s time to get to the nitty-gritty behind Meticore and actually dissect the science behind all the marketing.

You never want to put anything in your body that might hurt you, which is why I dug deep into Meticore’s claims and key active ingredients to figure out whether any of this was actually real.

Lower core body temperature is the key

The science behind Meticore is real: having a lower core body temperature is proportional to having greater body weight. Studies have found that obese individuals have lower core body temperatures than people of average weight.

According to the study from the American Clinical and Climatological Association, sedentary humans experience 10% of energy expenditure through physical activity, 80% through their resting metabolic rate, and another 10% through a biological function known as adaptive thermogenesis.

However, up to 50% of your daily energy expenditure is determined by your constant core temperature. This means yhat individuals with an average core body temperature use more energy naturally to maintain their temperature, while those with a lower core body temperature use less energy.

To explain this in layman’s terms, this averages out to around 130 calories per day: if you have a lower core body temperature, your body has an excess 130 calories which other people would naturally burn. While 130 calories might not seem like much, this adds up over time. 3500 calories is the equivalent of one pound, meaning you would need to work harder than the average person to burn an extra pound every 26 days, assuming your food intake is the same.

That’s another 12 pounds every year, another 120 pounds every decade. So the creeping effect of low core body temperature is obvious.

Active ingredients in Meticore

The Meticore capsule includes:

  • 15mcg of vitamin B12
  • 35mcg of chromium
  • 250mg of the “Meticore Formula Blend”, which includes the ingredients listed in the previous section.

Vitamin B12 and chromium are standard vitamins, generally found in any normal daily multivitamin supplement. B12 helps with daily energy needs, especially for people follower a vegan or vegetarian diet. Chromium is also a general wellness mineral that supports a number of functions in the body, including your metabolism.

The other key active ingredients in Meticore are core ingredients in other weight loss supplements, but Meticore combines them into an interesting formula that supposedly focuses on correcting a lower core body temperature.

Here are a few key ingredients and what they’re individually known for:

  • African mango: An ingredient that is naturally rich in fibre, meaning users who take this can reach the feeling of fullness and satisfaction sooner. Fibre is important for metabolism, as it helps the process of natural digestion.
  • Moringa Oleifera: An ingredient popularly known for its antioxidant properties, Moringa Oleifera adds a natural detoxification element to Meticore. By cleansing the body of unhealthy toxins, quicker metabolism can be achieved.
  • Ginger roots and turmeric: Both ingredients come from flowering plants, and are often key ingredients in conventional medicines. Turmeric is used in various pain relief medications for its polyphenol curcumin content, which helps with inflammatory and oxidative stresses, while ginger contains gingerol, a bioactive compound great for anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidizing effects.

My personal experience taking Meticore

The million-dollar question: did Meticore work for me?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Yes, but it’s important for you to keep practicing a healthy lifestyle while you’re taking it if you want some real effects.

When I first got Meticore, I was taking a one week break from the gym. I’d recently burned myself out from over-exercising and I needed to focus on some projects at work, so I didn’t have time or energy to spare for my exercise.

And I thought — if Meticore is as good as they say it is, then I won’t need the gym anyway!

And in that first week of taking Meticore, results were pretty dull. I checked the scale every day and didn’t really notice any significant changes; just the normal daily weight fluctuations I’ve known for years. I was about to give up on Meticore but I thought I might as well use up the whole bottle.

It was in the second week when I started seeing some real results. I started incorporating daily exercise into my everyday routine, and I shed weight so fast that I was slightly worried I might be sick! In that second week I burned off nearly 4 pounds, which is unusual considering the best I usually do on a good week is 2 pounds.

The third and fourth week were exactly the same — I burned off fat like it was nothing. And it wasn’t just the scale noticing it; people at work were mentioning it, my partner was loving the new me, and by the end of the month I had to start thinking about updating my wardrobe.

But here’s the thing: I still don’t know if Meticore didn’t work in my first week because it needed time to settle into my system, or because I wasn’t exercising. This is something I still need to test if I ever get the chance.

The other reviews on Meticore talk about a number of other benefits, like increased energy, greater overall health, slower aging, and less chronic pain. These things are harder to comment on, because I can’t just stand on a scale and see whether I’ve improved in these ways. But generally, I do feel lighter, quicker, and more capable of “seizing the day” ever since I started taking Meticore, but I do wonder if that has more to do with a placebo effect than anything.

Either way: I’ve lost about 18 pounds now since I first took Meticore, and I’m halfway to reaching my ideal body weight. The truth is I haven’t been this light since university — which was about a decade ago — so I couldn’t be happier with this product.

What are the alternatives to Meticore?

For me, absolutely.

Will it work for everyone?

Probably not, because we don’t all have low core body temperatures.
