How to manifest a specific person using the Law of Assumption

Are you trying to manifest someone specific in your life?

Do you know you want to love and have a deep sense of connection but feel lonely and single?

Perhaps you’re tired of the games we adults play when we date. Or flings that lead to some fun but also a slight aftertaste of shallow living.

Maybe you’ve even tried the Law of Assumption to attract a special person into your life. But it doesn’t feel like it’s working?

Let’s take a closer look at what this theory is and break it down in more detail:

First of all, what is the law of assumption?

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

The Law of Assumption is a belief system that if you assume something is true, then it will come to pass in the future. It’s about mindset. In other words, if I believe it will happen, it will happen.

It’s a shift in mindset. It uses your imagination to manifest whatever you want in life because you deep down believe that it will happen.

People use it for whatever they want in life, whether it be for love, money, power, or anything else.

So, what are you setting your mind on? What kind of life are you dreaming of?

Here are some examples of the Law of Assumption:

1) Assume you have the money you need for the life you want

The law of assumption is said to help you manifest more money in your life.

One way to manifest money would be by believing that you will receive a paycheck sometime soon or that if you work hard on a project that it will pay off financially. You have to completely embrace the idea and act as though it is happening in your life. No doubt. No Questions.

The mindset involves going about your day and living as though that money will be in the bank account at the end of the month and using it as though you have it.

This could take the form of paying bills, making purchases and paying off debts.

I once had someone describe this to me as having a “winner’s mindset” or to stop being so negative and cautious with my worries and take on a mindset of abundance.

It sounds risky to spend what you might not have, but the fundamental idea of the law of assumption is a change in your mindset. It’s to act as though you live in abundance.

If you act like you have the money now, in a short amount of time, the manifestation will come true and you will have more money in your bank account.

Now, this can lead to a reckoning if you just assume that money will manifest in your life magically.

You have to think also about how you are working, where you put your time and effort, how you treat people, and how you work towards making opportunities grow. It doesn’t just stop with mindset.

The shift in mindset is a catalyst for how you act in life.

2) Assume you have a great circle of friendship

The law of assumption can also be used for friendship by assuming that someone loves you back or wants to spend time with you.

You assume that the person you want is attracted to you and even love all the qualities about yourself that make them want to spend time with you. Why wouldn’t they?

This can be done by spending time thinking about their personality traits and what makes them so attractive to you as a friend, then imagining how it feels when they are around and finally going out with them in your head.

You assume that you are already connected and have a great relationship and treat them accordingly.

It asks you to act as though they are your best friend and treat you well and are proud of everything about you. This shift in mindset will change the way you act around others.

And according to this theory, it will cause someone else to want to spend their time and open up more of their life with you because you already assume the friendship and connection is there.

Because doubt and hesitation are gone, openness and love can make their way through you both and a friendship can grow.

Now, how does the law of assumption work with love?

“The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.” – Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov

The Law of Assumption is based on the idea that if you assume something is true, it will be manifested in the future.

This can also be applied to love. Assume the person you are attracted to is already the love of your life and you are in a beautiful and thriving relationship with them.

The manifestation process works by first imagining what it would be like to have your desire fulfilled.

Then you detach yourself from the belief that it can happen and just let life do its thing.

The goal is not to worry about how or when your desire will manifest but rather to believe in its existence with certainty.

This also frees up your energy so that you can focus on other things as well.

You aren’t trying to force an outcome but simply believe that it already exists.

You want to find a specific person for yourself and then apply the Law of Assumption technique for this purpose.

Imagine having found this person and achieving your goal. Think about what that your relationship would look like:

  • What would they say to you when you wake up together?
  • How would they treat you throughout the day?
  • How would you spend your time together?
  • Do you live independently or as a unit?
  • How would you support one another?
  • How would they behave towards you?
  • How would you work out conflict?
  • What would your dynamic be like?
  • What would the sexual dynamic be like?
  • How would you include your family and friends in your relationship?

The trick to the Law of Assumption is that after you assume this outcome, you have to also detach yourself from what might happen and go about living your normal life while believing everything will still turn out exactly as you planned.

Is this something you want to try using for love?

The method of the law of assumption can be considered a powerful tool for manifesting your thoughts. But do you really want to plan your love life? Some of the most beautiful and meaningful experiences of life come as surprises. Do you really think you can control these things? I dare to ask, would you want to?

It can also seem like a troublesome, reckless, or manipulative way to behave.

Why would you spend money that you don’t have? Or dream about someone who you don’t even know?

It’s a challenge to your mindset and offers you a way to try to shift it or think about life differently.

Be careful, you have to put first yourself

The belief in oneself is an essential part of using the law of assumption because a person cannot fully believe in themselves unless they truly know themselves.

You can only take full responsibility for yourself if you know who you are and what your desires are.

The more confident and secure a person feels about themselves, the easier it will be for them to work with the law of assumption.

So, what is your life purpose?

“It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much. … The life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully.” –  Lucius Annaeus Seneca, On the Shortness of Life

What would you say if I asked you what your purpose is right now?

A month ago I would’ve closed my eyes and sighed. I had no idea.

The problem is that there are far too many packaged-up theories, life coaches, self-help approaches, and fake gurus out there ready to sell you on unrealistic and ineffective solutions.

They told me to meditate, radiate “positive vibrations” and visualize the life of my dreams. They told me to see the future I imagined, much like the Law of Assumption.

They said I’d find the romantic partner I’d always wanted and that prosperity and peace would flow.

It sounded good, but it backfired.

Here’s the crazy thing:

Visualization and positive vibes won’t bring you closer to your dreams, and they can drag you backward into time-wasting, idle fantasy, and frustration. They can take you out of the reality and opportunities that are actually in front of you.

But it’s hard to have a strong sense of what you need in life and the type of partner who will work well with you when you’re being hit with so many Instagram influencers and amateur gurus who want to convince you that you’re just being negative.

You can end up trying so hard and not finding the answers you need that your life and dreams begin to feel hopeless.

You may end up further back than where you started, miserable, alone, and angry.

The fact is:

Before you can experience a real change, you need to know your purpose.

I learned about the power of purpose from watching Ideapod co-founder Justin Brown’s video on the hidden trap of improving yourself.

Justin used to be addicted to the self-help industry and New Age gurus just like me. They sold him on visualization and positive thinking. It left him lost and confused.

That’s why he traveled to Brazil to meet the renowned shaman Rudá Iandê, who taught him a life-changing new way to find your purpose and use it to transform your life and everything around you.

After watching the video, I discovered my purpose in life and it’s no exaggeration to say it was a turning point in my life.

I can honestly say that this new way of finding success by finding your purpose helped me to think more clearly about what type of life I wanted to live and how someone might fit into that dream with me.

“All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man’s life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom.” – Albert Einstein, Out of My Later Years: The Scientist, Philosopher, and Man Portrayed Through His Own Words

In conclusion

The Law of Assumption is a law of attraction and visualization technique that can bring your goals to fruition. It can also be something that can hold you back from living authentically and naturally.

Don’t get me wrong, all these tools can come in handy. But if you’re not careful, you could end up with the wrong tools and it will be hard to find the right tools and use them effectively to reach your destination.

Any tool or technique for self-development is a suggestion or a recommendation from someone else.

It’s also something that is usually being created for a fee so that someone can gain from your sense of vulnerability.

The most powerful thing you can do is to look at these ideas critically and see what fits best for you.

Your judgment is the most important asset you have. And it will help you to create the life that you need, want, and dream of.
