The epic guide to visualizing using the law of attraction

Have you ever wished that you could change your reality with your thoughts?

Our minds have a powerful effect on what we experience in the world.

This guide will teach you how to use the law of attraction and visualization to create anything you want in your life!

What is the law of attraction and why does it matter?

The law of attraction is the idea that you attract what you think about. Your thoughts are powerful and can create your reality.

If you think about poverty, loss, or problems all the time, then your thoughts will attract those things in your life.

On the other hand, if you focus on being successful and wealthy, then it will draw wealth and success to you.

Visualization is a technique that draws upon these principles to help people create their desired reality.

When we visualize something, we are creating an image in our minds of what we want to happen.

And the best part?

When you do this over and over again until it is deeply ingrained in your brain, it makes it much easier to manifest what you want with the law of attraction.

Visualizing goals can be done by yourself or as part of a group setting where everyone works towards a collective goal together.

Achieving goals through visualization has been shown to be successful because when you put enough positive energy into something, it becomes easier for the universe to bring it to fruition.

What is Visualization?

Simply put, visualization is the act of picturing something in your mind.

It’s a powerful technique that allows you to focus on what you want and get rid of anything that is not wanted.

Visualization can be used in many different ways, but the most popular is to use it as a tool to help you achieve your goals.

Visualizing your goals and the path that you want to take to get there will help you achieve them much faster than if you had not visualized them at all.

Another way that visualization is commonly used is through meditation.

Meditation allows your mind to become clear of any distractions and focus on one thing: yourself.

If you are not a huge fan of anything too “out there”, visualization can still be something for you!

You see, even in the non-spiritual community, successful people have learned to use visualization to their advantage.

As an example, elite athletes have figured out that if they practice visualization before an important competition, their results tend to be much better than if they don’t!

Isn’t that incredible?

Visualization is a technique that anyone can benefit from and use in their daily lives.

The best part?

It’s something that you can do right now, without any additional tools!

And the great thing is, visualization can help you realize your purpose.

What would you say if I asked you what your purpose is right now?

A month ago I would’ve closed my eyes and sighed. I had no idea.

The problem is that there are far too many fake gurus out there ready to sell you on unrealistic and ineffective solutions.

They told me to meditate, radiate “positive vibrations” and visualize the life of my dreams. They said I’d find the romantic partner I’d always wanted and that prosperity and peace would flow.

It sounded good, but it backfired.

Here’s the crazy thing:

Visualization and positive vibes won’t bring you closer to your dreams, and they can actually drag you backward into time-wasting, idle fantasy, and frustration.

But it’s hard to visualize your dreams when you’re being hit with so many Instagram influencers and studio gurus who want to convince you that you’re just being negative.

You can end up trying so hard and not finding the answers you need that your life and dreams begin to feel hopeless.

You may end up further back than where you started, miserable, alone, and angry.

The fact is:

Before you can experience a real change, you need to really know your purpose.

I learned about the power of purpose from watching Ideapod co-founder Justin Brown’s video on the hidden trap of improving yourself.

Justin used to be addicted to the self-help industry and New Age gurus just like me. They sold him on visualization and positive thinking. It left him lost and confused.

That’s why he traveled to Brazil to meet the renowned shaman Rudá Iandê, who taught him a life-changing new way to find your purpose and use it to transform your life and everything around you.

After watching the video, I discovered my purpose in life and it’s no exaggeration to say it was a turning point in my life.

I can honestly say that this new way of finding success by finding your purpose actually helped me to visualize and attract all of my desires!

The Power of Visualization:

When we visualize, the brain uses its natural abilities to recognize patterns and bring them to life.

When we make images in our minds, we activate what’s called the Reticular Activating System (RAS), which works as an antenna to filter out external distractions and focus on desired thoughts.

The RAS sends what it perceives as important information to the rest of the brain, which then reacts accordingly.

Visualization is a way to trick the mind into believing that what you’ve imagined is real.

And when you really believe something, it’s not hard to act as if it is.

You see, your body and brain can’t tell the difference between something actually happening in real life or something you imagine.

Sure, on a logical level you know, but if you think about a stressful situation or a traumatic memory, for example, your body will keep sending out the same stress hormones that it did back then, essentially reliving the experience.

The good news?

You can use this to your advantage!

When you visualize, it’s important to picture yourself doing the exact thing that you want to do.

The more details you can picture, the more likely your brain will be able to put those details into motion in real life.

What are the benefits of Visualization?

You’ve probably heard that the power of your thoughts and visualizations can influence your reality.

This is because you are the creator of your own universe.

If you change your thoughts, you change your beliefs.

And if you change your beliefs, you change what happens to you.

The more specific and detailed your visualization is, the better it will work for you.

Visualization gives people who have a hard time making decisions a way to visualize their desired outcome before they make one.

When this method is combined with meditation, it becomes even more powerful as it can calm people down and help them find the solution that’s best for them.

But wait, let me tell you more!

The benefits of visualization are endless.

Visualization helps with:

  • creative problem solving
  • relieves stress
  • improves memory
  • boosts confidence
  • helps with overcoming fears and phobias

It’s also been shown to improve athletic performance by increasing focus and concentration.

Now if that doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will!

And the best part?

It only takes a few minutes every day! Let’s take a look at how you can visualize:

How can you practice Visualization?

Visualization and the law of attraction are all about using your imagination to create.

Simply put, what you imagine, you can create.

But sometimes it takes a little practice before you’ll be able to do it effectively. Here are some steps you need to take:

Decide what you want to visualize

First and foremost, you need to decide what you want to visualize.

This means you need to have a goal.

Believe it or not, this step is often where people struggle more than with anything else!

So how do you decide what to visualize?

If you have a specific goal in mind, that’s great!

But if not, that’s okay too.

A lot of people find it easier to start off with a general goal and then work their way up to more specific goals.

It’s important to remember that your visualization will not come true unless it is something that you truly want.

Be very clear on what it is that you want and know why you want it.

The clearer your visualization is, the more likely it will come true. So take some time to think about what you want and why you want it!

Calm down your body

Now that you’ve figured out what it is you want to visualize, you need to calm down your body.

This will make it easier for you to relax and focus on your thoughts.

Sit in a comfortable position and take deep breaths, in through the nose, out through the mouth.

Do this for a few minutes until you feel relaxed.

Allow yourself to enter a meditative state by focusing on one thing or repeating a mantra or affirmation over and over again in your head.

This will help you to get into the right frame of mind.

The thing is, you don’t need to meditate in order to visualize, but for the first few times it might be helpful.

Once you’ve practiced it a bit, you can visualize anytime, anywhere!

Visualize what you want

Now it’s time to actually visualize. Try to imagine as many details as you can!

You can’t just say “I want to be rich”.

That’s too vague.

What does that look like? What do you want that money for?

Where would you spend it? How would you spend it?

Before you even begin visualizing, make sure you know what your goal is.

This will help your mind focus on the right thing and ensure that your thoughts are positive and productive!

Now that you know where your end goal is, it’s time to think about all of the steps between where you are now and where you want to be.

Visualize each step as clearly as possible, including how each step makes you feel, what it looks like, any obstacles in the way of achieving this goal, and how they were overcome.

This sounds like it would take forever, but trust me, visualization can take anywhere between a few seconds up to a couple of minutes.

The first time you might want to take some time to visualize every detail, but afterwards, a few seconds of visualization might suffice.

Use a vision board for help

Another great way to practice visualization is by creating a vision board.

A vision board is a collage of images that represents your goals and desires in life.

You can make a vision board in a number of ways:

  • Using an app on your phone (i.e. Pinterest)
  • Using software like Microsoft PowerPoint or Word
  • Creating a collage on paper (either by hand or using scissors and glue)
  • Using the “photo collage” feature on your phone.

In my own experience, having the collage on your phone and using it as a screen saver can be a great way to look at it often!

The whole point of the vision board is to remind you of your goals throughout the day, sparking many, tiny visualizations.

Have fun with this! Find pictures that really represent what you are trying to attract!

 Useful tips

Now that you’ve learned how to visualize, there are a few tips I have for you to make things easier.

Try not to overthink

The first tip is to not overthink it too much. When you visualize something, sure, the details are important but don’t panic when you aren’t 100% sure how exactly you want something to look.

You can visualize the big picture and let the little details fall into place.

Overthinking will only hinder your visualization progress, trust me!

Visualize often

The second tip is to visualize often. Don’t wait until you feel like you have time, or until the perfect time presents itself.

Instead, try to find small moments throughout your day to visualize a few seconds, even if it’s just while you’re waiting in line at the grocery store or taking a shower!

Even 10 seconds of visualization each day will add up and make a big difference in the long run!

Use all of your senses

Many people stick to solely mental images when they visualize, and that’s okay.

But a way to attract things even faster is to integrate all of your senses into your visualization.

What does your goal feel like? What do you hear? What can you smell?

Adding in all of your senses will help you make this experience even more realistic in your mind.

The more detailed, the bigger the effect of the visualization will be.

Don’t judge yourself if your mind wanders

During your visualization, it can happen that you get distracted, or your mind wanders to other things.

Don’t worry about this!

This is completely normal, and it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong.

Instead of judging yourself for it and essentially distracting yourself even more, simply bring your thoughts back to your visualization and try again.

Visualization is a skill that you get better at the more you do it.

Connect with the emotion of what you want to attract

Do you want to know the best way to quickly attract something? Get your emotions involved in the visualization!

If you aren’t feeling the emotion of what you want to attract, then you’re not doing it right.

  • What are the emotions that you want to feel?
  • How would it feel to already have what you want?
  • How would it feel to achieve your goal?

Focus on these emotions, and how they would feel in your body.

Feel them in your chest, stomach, or wherever else they resonate with you.

This can feel very powerful and you might get really excited and giddy – that’s a great thing!

Try to be sure that what you are visualizing will definitely come into your life

The number one key to attracting what you want quickly is by being certain that it is already yours.

This is a big reason why visualization can be so powerful.

You can use your mind to bring you closer to what you want, you just have to believe it’s possible.

Try to be sure that what you are visualizing will definitely come into your life, even if it’s just a tiny thought in the back of your mind.

Doubts and negative thoughts will only hinder the process, trust me!

How often should you practice Visualization?

Though visualization often comes in handy, it’s important to remember that the key is practice.

Visualize your goals as often as you can to make them a reality.

In fact, studies show that people who implement visualization techniques into their daily lives are more successful than those who don’t.

To get the most out of visualization, try practicing it every day for at least six months.

This will give your brain time to build new neural pathways that will better help you achieve your goals.

Try visualizing every day for a few minutes first thing in the morning. This is when your brain is still in a wavelength that is extremely receptive to visualization!

This will set up your thoughts for the day ahead and help you start off feeling more positive and confident.

Visualization may take some time to work if you’re not used to it.

You’ll also need a lot of patience and discipline before you start seeing results.

However, once your brain starts building these pathways, success will come much easier than with traditional methods.

Have you reached the end of your rope about visualization?

I was in the same place last year and out of hope about ever solving your trouble with visualization.

No matter what I did, my visualization didn’t come true.

I’d always been curious about speaking to a psychic, so I decided to go for it.

The first place I tried was garbage and had nothing to offer, but I kept looking.

That’s when I found Psychic Source.

It was completely different, and the gifted spiritual advisor there really helped me understand the pattern of my thoughts that kept popping up in my life and ruining my dreams.

I was blown away by how kind, understanding, and genuinely helpful they were.

Click here to try it out.

They are incredibly knowledgeable about the law of attraction. Most importantly, they can also empower you to make the right decisions when it comes to love.

Attract whatever you want!

Now that you have everything there is to know about visualization, it’s time to go out and put it into practice!

Trust me, once you’ve figured out the process, you will be unstoppable.

Life will feel magical, and you can attract anything you want.

Good luck!
