You Can Sometimes Influence the Thoughts of Others
Are you able to send thoughts to people and influence their behaviors, actions or train of thought?
This can be hard to tell, but you may notice it more often when you’re interacting with someone close to you, or when you’re particularly focused on a specific thought that is important to you.
If You’re a Twin Are You More Likely to Be Telepathic?
There are many people who believe that twins are more likely to be telepathic than other people, because twins are born together, share a special bond that many other siblings seem not to share, and often seem to be reading each other’s minds.
If you’re a twin, make your twin your practice partner when trying to develop your telepathic abilities.
You may find that it’s easier to be telepathic with your twin, but that your abilities will become stronger the more you practice with your twin.
What Can You Do to Develop Telepathic Powers?
There are many things you can do to either hone your natural telepathic powers, or learn the ability to be telepathic.
Develop the Ability to Focus Your Thoughts
You’ll experience lots of distracting thoughts while you’re developing your telepathic abilities. Learning to focus your thoughts, control your thinking, and examine your thoughts in a detached way can help you strengthen your telepathic abilities.
Do yoga. Yoga relaxes your muscles, which in turn can help you reach the relaxed state you need to reach in order to hone your senses from your third eye.
Yoga also helps you develop discipline and an inner quiet that’s useful when trying to learn telepathy.
Play white noise, reduce your sensory perception. Listen to white noise to help shift your attention away from the world around you.
This will allow you to focus your attention on your inner thoughts, which are far more important than the thoughts influenced by the outside world when you’re trying to develop your telepathic powers.
Meditate. Meditation is an extension of yoga, because it will help you develop the inner calm and quiet you need to become telepathic. Meditate on a regular basis – daily – for 20 minutes a day or more.
This also helps you develop the mental discipline you need to become telepathic.
Try to Send Telepathic Messages
Pick a partner. It’s useful to choose a partner. Hopefully this person is open to the experience and would like to help you on the path to developing your telepathic abilities.
This may be someone you love or someone who is just interested in your project.
Spend time relaxing. Before any telepathy session, meditate with your partner to relax your muscles and quiet your thoughts. Do this for at least 20 minutes.
Visualize your partner. Sit down across from your partner.
Close your eyes and think about your partner, the way they look, the appearance of their face, their clothes, their gestures, expression.
See them with the clearest detail possible. You may spend a long time on this step.
Ask your partner to relax and open their mind to the message you’re about to send them. Ask them to close their eyes and imagine you with as much detail as possible – just as you are trying to visualize them.
Imagine your communications with your partner. Think about the tone of voice you use when you’re speaking to your partner.
Think about the things you talk about. Think about your feelings for this person, and how communicating with this person makes you feel.
Visualize a simple message. Shift your thoughts to something in the room or something very basic, like a pet or a favorite object. Think about that object with all the clarity you can.
Transmit your message to your partner. After a long moment of quiet reflection, imagine sending your thought to your partner.
Imagine the thought traveling from your mind into your partner’s mind. Visualize your partner receiving the thought or message.
Keep your muscles relaxed and your thoughts open during this process.
Once you’ve sent the thought to your partner, imagine that the message is gone, received by your partner, and no longer in your possession. Clear your mind.
Ask your partner to write down the message. Ask your partner to write down whatever message they received when you transmitted your thoughts to them.
It’s also a good idea to write down the message you transmitted at this time, so you can prove that the messages lined up – or see how off they were.
Write down as much detail as possible, including color, size, texture, and so on.
View the results. Swap papers and look at the thoughts that you both wrote down. Are they the same? Are they different? Were some details overlapping but not all?
Practice together regularly. Practicing together is the only way to get better!
Try not to be discouraged if your initial efforts don’t quite work out – instead, look for similarities in the descriptions that you two wrote down when recording your thoughts, and take these small successes with a positive attitude.
Find the right partner. Pick a partner you trust fully. Hopefully this will be someone who is open to the idea that telepathy is possible.
It might be easy to find a partner who is willing to practice with you because they want to be supportive, but it might be harder to find someone who is open to the idea of developing telepathy as a skill, who believes this is possible.
The more open and wiling your partner is, the harder they’ll try to help you on your path of developing telepathy.
Play a card game. Try picking cards from a deck. Send an image of each card one at a time, using the method described above.
Ask your partner to receive the messages and write down each card as you transmit the message. After doing this with five cards, compare your results to see if your partner received accurate messages.
Draw shapes. Try drawing some simple shapes embedded within shapes (triangle inside circle, square inside triangle, etc).
Visualize the shapes, then send these messages on to your partner. Ask your partner to draw the shapes. Compare notes.
Try receiving instead of transmitting. You don’t have to be the person sending messages all the time. You can receive them as well!
Ask your partner to try sending messages your way, the same way you’ve been sending messages to them.
Limit sessions to short time frames. Don’t burn yourself out while you’re developing your telepathic powers.
Keep your sessions short – no more than an hour – to keep your mind fresh, relaxed, and focused.
Keep a journal. Track your progress with a journal. If you can see progress, the process will become more exciting and you’ll be motivated to keep up with development of your power.
Switch partners if it feels right. If something isn’t going right with your current partner, consider switching.
Even if things were going well with your partner at first, you may decide at some point that you want to try something new and different to keep the process exciting.
Can Telepathy Be Learned? We Think So
The most important thing you can do as you’re learning how to develop telepathy is to keep trying and working hard.
Practice your efforts daily at first, though you may slow your efforts over time as your skills begin to develop.
