You’re getting into reality shifting, and the Alice in Wonderland shifting method has caught your eye.
You want to give it a try, but how do you go about it?
This guide will walk you through all the steps and tell you everything you need to know.
7 steps to do the Alice in Wonderland shifting method
1) Prepare your body and mind with meditation
You’re probably excited to jump right into the Alice in Wonderland shifting method.
But that would be a big mistake.
As you’ve probably already discovered, reality shifting isn’t easy. It isn’t merely daydreaming or even dreaming while asleep — if it was, everybody would be doing it on a daily basis!
So to maximize your chances of success, you should do everything you can do to prepare both your mind and body.
And one of the most helpful ways to prepare is through meditation.
It will get all of you relaxed enough to detach from your current reality and transfer your consciousness to your DR.
How long do you need to meditate before you shift realities?
When you first start practicing meditation, it may take a bit longer to get into the right state of mind. But once you start to feel more comfortable, you’ll only need to meditate for 5 to 10 minutes or so.
How to meditate for shifting realities
Here’s how to meditate in order to help you shift realities.
- Take a seat somewhere comfortable, in a position that you can stay in for a while without feeling discomfort.
- Play Theta waves or binaural beats in the background.
- Focus on breathing deeply through your diaphragm.
- If you realize your thoughts have drifted off to what you’ll eat for dinner, or what you should have said to that rude customer at work, gently bring your focus back to your breath.
Tips to meditate for shifting realities
Don’t worry about using any affirmations or a script at this point yet.
The idea is simply to wind yourself down and get into a state where you’re relaxed but still able to focus.
In other words, it’s like warming up your body before you start to do hard physical exercise. Your mind will then have a much easier time concentrating on your DR without getting distracted.
2) Prepare your script
If you’ve looked into a few shifting methods, you might have noticed that most of them mention “scripts”.
But what are shifting scripts exactly?
Basically, they are a written storyline, guidelines, or facts about your DR. It helps to define exactly where you are trying to go so you can visualize it more accurately and shift correctly.
There are several different ways you can write your script.
Bullet-point style script for shifting
Here is an example of a list-style script that you can fill in to shift realities.
Sexuality and pronouns:
Story-style script for shifting
Your script for shifting could also be in the format of a story.
For this, you might like to reread Alice in Wonderland or watch the movie version in order to get inspired.
Here is a guideline for what your script could look like. Remember, you can feel free to change up some details to make it more personal or specific to your DR.
You’re sitting against a tree. What is your environment like? Write what the air smells like, what the sky looks like, and what the grass and tree trunk feel like under and behind you. Describe the beautiful scenery and the breeze, leaves, and flowers around you.
Then, you see someone important from your DR near the tree where you’re sitting. You stand up and step towards them. They start running and wave at you to follow.
You run after them. Describe the scenery and what things you pass on the way.
Eventually, the person gets to a rabbit hole and jumps inside. You follow them and fall down a long hole. Once again, describe what you see around you. How wide and long is the hole? How much light is there? How fast are you falling? Is there anything along the tunnel walls?
At the bottom, you find yourself in a room. Describe how big it is, how it’s decorated, and what’s inside it. Make sure you include a locked door and a key inside it. You can follow the traditional Alice in Wonderland storyline if you like, with a table, cake, and tea.
Once you have gone through any storyline actions you like, the person asks you “Are you ready to go?” (Or another sentence based on your preference).
Once you’re ready, you say “Yes” and take the key to unlock the door. You step through it together into your DR.
Where should I write my shifting script?
You can write your script anywhere — on a piece of paper or in a notebook, or even in your phone.
What should I include in my script for shifting realities?
You should include anything in your script that is important to you about your DR. But the quantity of detail and information you include depends entirely on your experience and shifting style.
If you’re able to visualize everything very vividly, you can just script a few basic details and do the rest of the work with your mind while shifting.
Or, you could take the time to write very detailed scripts with even the most minute details. If you’re a visual person, you can even create a drawing of your DR.
But aside from that, you can even script things to help you shift in the first place. For example, if you’re trying to shift while asleep and have problems with falling asleep too early, you can also try scripting when you’ll let yourself fall asleep.
And remember to script things that will keep you safe in your DR, like having a high tolerance to and an inability to die. This will keep you from getting traumatized in your DR, so you don’t bring back any bad memories.
Do I need a script to shift realities?
You don’t necessarily need a script to shift realities, but it is certainly a great help. And if you are trying to shift using the Alice in Wonderland method, you will definitely need one — at least until you become more comfortable shifting.
Do I need to memorize my shifting script?
The script for the Alice in Wonderland shifting method can be quite long — as this shifting method is rather complex.
But remember, this isn’t an exam!
So there is no need to agonize over memorizing your script. Instead, think of it as a spiritual story. Read through it several times, and practice going through it whenever you have time during the day — waiting in line, stuck in traffic, or on your lunch break.
Soon, it will start to feel natural and you’ll be able to follow the script almost intuitively.
3) Free your mind
Most of us are very good at daydreaming and falling asleep — but not so great at guiding our mind to our DR in the process.
You see, shifting realities takes a high level of spirituality. You must be able to let go of all your preconceived notions about logic and the limits of your consciousness.
And you’ve probably already realized that getting there takes a fair bit of work. You’re certainly willing to put it in — you’re committed to your personal and spiritual growth, and you don’t give up at the first sign of difficulty.
But here’s something strange that you may have noticed. Many courses out there — the vast majority of them, in fact — just tout the same message over and over again about “staying positive”.
Are you feeling exhausted from hearing this all the time? If so, you’re not alone! In fact, many reality shifters have realized that they’ve been sold toxic spirituality.
It’s a large part of what was keeping them from shifting properly, and once they finally break free, shifting suddenly becomes a breeze.
So it’s time for a change.
In this incredible free video, shaman Rudá Iandé explains how you can get your spirituality back on the right track to truly free your mind.
You will immediately notice that Rudá seems different from everyone else. In fact, he’s not going to tell you how to practice spirituality. Instead, he gives you the tools you need so that you can get in touch with your core self and find real empowerment from within.
These are exactly the skills that can help you tap into your subconscious mind and become a master at shifting.

4) Use subliminals or theta waves
Shifting with the Alice in Wonderland method gets a lot easier if you use some sound.
But I’m not talking about Taylor Swift or Edward Sheeran.
You need sounds that are specifically made to help you shift realities:
- Theta waves
Using Theta waves for shifting realities
When you’re trying to shift realities, it’s very helpful to listen to Theta waves. These are essentially “slow” waves, with a frequency of anything between 3.5 and 7.5 Hz.
They are strongly associated with creativity, intuition, and fantasizing.
For this reason, Theta waves can help you get into the ideal state for shifting: where your body is asleep but your mind is still awake.
They are especially useful for shifting with the Alice in Wonderland method, as they are not too distracting and you can focus on your script.
Using subliminals for shifting realities
Another useful sound for shifting realities are subliminals. These are audios with hidden affirmations and messages to help you shift.
But if you choose this option, there’s one important thing you need to be aware of.
There are a lot of free subliminal audios and recordings out there — and unfortunately, not all of them have good affirmations.
Your spiritual and mental wellbeing must be your top priority, shifting or not. So do your research and spend some time reading the comments before you try any video or audio.
Also pay careful attention to your gut feeling. Don’t listen to anything that you don’t feel is safe.
5) Try shifting while awake and shifting while asleep
If you’ve followed all the steps above, then you’re all set to get down to shifting!

You might be aware that there are actually two ways you can shift realities through any method — including the Alice in Wonderland shifting method.
The easier one for beginners tends to be the asleep method. But you can feel free to try whichever one feels the most comfortable for you.
Alice in Wonderland shifting method while asleep
To do the Alice in Wonderland shifting method while asleep, first get in a comfortable position lying down.
Many people recommend the starfish position, where you have your arms and legs spread out around you like a star.
But you can feel free to choose whatever position feels best for you and allows you to go through the shifting process.
Start going through your script in your mind, using the steps below to reinforce the shifting process.
When you start to feel signs that you’re shifting, start to let your consciousness go while continuing to focus on visualizing and affirming your DR.
Let yourself fall asleep as your consciousness transfers into a different reality.
Alice in Wonderland shifting method while awake
You might have read that you need a specific method to shift realities while awake.
But this is a misconception.
There are indeed methods that were created specifically for shifting while awake. But you can actually use any method you want — including the Alice in Wonderland method.
All you need to do is make a couple of tweaks.
First of all, it might help to get into a seated position rather than lay down. This is to help keep you from falling asleep too early.
However, you should still make sure it’s a position you’re comfortable in. If it takes you a long time to shift, you need to be able to stay in this position for a while without moving.
Then, follow your script in your mind as usual, using the next steps below to reinforce the shifting process.
But when you start to feel signs of shifting, you won’t let yourself fall asleep. Instead, continue visualizing and affirming your DR until you feel the shifting process has been completed.
Then, you open your eyes to find yourself in your DR.
6) Get help from a gifted advisor
You’ve done your meditation, you’ve got your script ready, and your chosen shifting sounds are playing in the background.
But somehow, you still can’t manage to shift.
Why is this happening?
The truth is, it’s impossible for me to tell — because it depends entirely on your specific experience, circumstances, and spiritual blockages.
So the best thing you can do is get tailored advice.
That’s why we recommend getting a personalized psychic reading to really address the issues you’re facing.
They can answer all your questions like, What’s keeping me from shifting? What method is best for me to shift realities? And what should I do to master reality shifting?
Imagine how easy everything can become when you know all these answers. Great, right?
There’s just one catch — finding someone you can trust. There are so many so-called “gurus” out there, it’s so hard to know where to even begin.
That’s why I recommend Psychic Source. When I signed up for a reading, they provided me with a unique insight into my spirituality, including what I needed to know so I could finally shift.
Having tried several online advisors, I think they’re the most caring, compassionate and helpful network of gifted advisors out there.
Not only will a genuine advisor tell you how you can shift realities, but they can guide you on the best process for doing it too.
7) Use affirmations
Affirmations are another crucial aspect of shifting realities with the Alice in Wonderland method.
Essentially, they are statements that help you affirm your ability to shift and your desired reality.
Your affirmations can be anything you want, as long as they fulfill two key criteria:
- You say them in the present tense (“I am” not “I will” or “I want to be”)
- They are relevant to your dream reality
You can make general affirmations about your ability to shift, such as:
- I am shifting
- I can shift very easily
- I am in transit to my desired reality
- I am in my desired reality
- I love being in my desired reality
- Shifting comes totally natural to me
Or, you can get very specific and come up with even the smallest details about yourself and the other people in your DR.
For example, you could say:
- “My name is _____”
- “My best friend/partner is _____”
- “I am (a profession / a characteristic / an identity marker)
- “I like to _____”
- “I live in _____”
- “I work at / study at _____”
If you’re new at shifting and using affirmations, it might help to write down your shifting affirmations before you try to shift.
Of course, you won’t be able to read them off the page during shifting, as your eyes will need to stay closed. But since you’ve written them down, they can stick in your memory and your subconscious better.
What are the signs that you have started to shift?
The key to shifting successfully, whether it’s asleep or awake, is timing the moment when you drift off or open your eyes.
You have to be able to put this off until after you’ve started to feel signs that you’re shifting.
But wait — how can you tell that you’re shifting?
Here are some signs and symptoms to look out for:
- a sensation of floating
- feeling weightless
- feeling super heavy
- heart racing
- seeing white lights
- hearing/feeling something from your DR
- smelling a signature scent
You might be thinking, don’t some of these signs contradict themselves? How can floating and feeling heavy both be signs that you have shifted realities?
Well, you will probably not feel all of these shifting signs at once. Each one of us can experience shifting in a different way, so there is a wide range of possible symptoms you might feel.
Whatever your particular case, you will not be able to miss the signs. So just stay alert and attentive, and watch out for any sensations in your body that are unexplained or unusual.
3 expert tips to help you shift realities
So you’ve tried shifting with the Alice in Wonderland method a few times already.
You felt some initial signs of shifting — heck, you might have even started to feel some of your DR!
If you’re so close to shifting but it’s always just out of your grasp, you might need just a little extra push. Here are 3 expert tips you can try to include in your shifting routine.
1) Don’t try shifting when you’re too tired
Have you tried shifting realities after a long and tiring day, when all you wanted was to fall into bed and doze off?
It might seem like the perfect way to make use of your fatigue, but this actually isn’t the best way to go about shifting.
You see, when you do this, you’ll actually be too tired. Your mind will not have the strength to focus on your DR well enough to transfer your consciousness there.
Instead, your brain will be focused on trying to get rest, and so it will pull you into your usual dreamland in your CR.
For the best success at shifting, choose a time when you feel relatively well rested, but not so energized that you won’t be able to get into a relaxed state of mind.
2) Drink plenty of water
The human body is 55-60% water.
So dehydration will naturally have a huge effect on your energy levels, focus, and mood.
What do you think this means for shifting?
Clearly, dehydration is a huge obstacle to being able to shift. Your mind and body will be too concerned with getting its basic needs met in order to focus on a higher order action like shifting realities.
Drinking lots of water helps you increase your vibrations and maintain a positive mindset.
Because of this, many shifters say that staying hydrated helps them shift a lot more easily.
Of course, you don’t want to chug half a liter of water right before shifting — this will only make you interrupt your shifting to run to the bathroom halfway through.
Instead, focus on staying hydrated throughout the day and leading up to when you want to shift.
3) Take breaks if you need them
You’re probably very excited to shift, and would like nothing more than to be in your DR as soon as possible.
But the reality is, it might take some time to shift successfully — especially if you’re new to shifting.
Remember that your mind is working really hard to try to make it happen. So you need to be careful not to overburden it.
If shifting starts to feel like a huge strain, then just take a break and start from the beginning a bit later.
I know this can feel like a drag — I’ve been there too! But the more you practice, the better you’ll get. If you follow all the tips on this page, then you’ll be able to shift effortlessly in no time.
